Anyone with ears who's been into dance music over a decade will no doubt remember the massive anthem 'Kernkraft 400' with its massive 8-bit bleepy riff pinched from an old computer game. Memorable it was, subtle it certainly wasn't, and so I approached this album expecting more of the same rather obvious riffy techno. Therefore I was quite pleasantly surprised to see that this new album whilst suitably bombastic and tub-thumpy is intelligently produced and fresh sounding.

'Zombielicious' takes in a fair few styles, with the odd vocal and guitar-driven track that will appeal to fans of Kitsuné Records and acts like Simian Mobile Disco, there is also a fair dose of quirkiness as well as plenty of funk, and good, old-fashioned filth.

With some great hooks and fresh sounds, this is an artist album packed with tracks that will work on a dancefloor but also make for a cohesive listening experience. Definitely worth checking out. I'm expecting this one to go big!
