Format: CD
Genre: Electro-Rock/Breaks

Oooh! I like this! Some serious filth served up by Specimen A here, with a full vocal giving it plenty of crossover potential.

Structured as a song rather than a club track, the vocal mix and radio edits are a kind of rocky electro-breaks fusion. Seriously aggressive synths tangle with speaker-battering bass riffs and 'Hammer House Of Horror' soundtrack chords, and the male/female vocal interplay is an interesting approach not often taken with this style of music.

I'll be surprised if this strategy doesn't get it some mainstream chart action and airplay as this is sure to appeal to the rock and metal as well as fans of Pendulum and The Prodigy, as this stuff is as aggressive as it is groovy.

However, DJs need never fear as a 'Club Mix' has been created for maximum dancefloor-bothering, which removes the male vocal and reworks the track into one of the best bits of tear-out breaks I've heard in a while, referencing classic-era Aquasky vs Masterblaster and Hardcore Beats material. This makes me happy as there's been next to no decent tear-out/bassline breaks made in the last few years as most producers seem to have gone for the Electro sound and most of the ones that stayed with tear-out seem to be ploughing the same furrow over and over.

Definitely a winner.
