Alan Pullen » In My Head Reviewed by Tim Priestley / Submitted 09-03-03 19:41 Label: Class A Format: 12" Vinyl Genre: Hard House This is the third release for Alan Pullens fledgling Class A imprint and most definately my favourite to date. It isnt easy to mix the hard with the uplifting, but Alan has pulled it off in style. Fusing tough percussion, a rumbling bassline and an uplifting main riff, "In My Head" combines the two best loved elements of hard dance extremely effectively. On the flip, Alan teams up with the well established Mark Kavanagh to provide the 'Da Jungle Mix'; a funkier alternative to the original which for me just beats the original in terms of all round quality.
