Label: Retek
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Hard-Dance

Where do I start with these two? They have been consistently pushing the limits of the sound for a while now with their techno like influences and release number two on the new label, Retek, is no different. Starting off on a very tribally tip. Lots of drums and percussion with a nice hard kick drum is the order of the day complemented with a large warped bass line. This track is hard as nails. Continuing on to the break where you receive a nice twisted synth and groovy melody. Add to it the techno like vocal sampling and you have Africaine. If that wasn’t enough then flip over where you also get the groundbreaking Nick Sentience remix which has been charted by almost every dj ive laid eyes upon lately. Definitely one label to look out for with releases like Jon Rundell’s “Volume”, “Dead Bug” and others all promising remixes from large-scale producers im excited!
